rhubarb & blackberry crisp recipe easy

Berry crisps are a childhood favorite of mine and this combo lets this delicious flavors shine!

INGREDIENTS FRUIT FILLING – hopped rhubarb –blackberries –honey – chia seeds CRUMBLE TOPPING – oats –brown sugar –corn flakes – sourdough starter – cold butter, cubed

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Chop rhubarb into 1-inch pieces add blackberries and toss with honey in a bowl until coated.

Spread evenly on a baking sheet and roast for 15 minutes, stirring once halfway 

Allow to cool slightly before adding to the crisp. 

Meanwhile, combine starter, oats, and brown sugar in a bowl and mix until well combined.

Add butter and mix until crumbly

Grease baking dish with nonstick spray . Spread fruit mixture into prepared pan

Sprinkle reserved oat mixture over filling
