Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line baking sheet with parchment paper and cut the acorn squash from stem to end with a sharp knife

Use a spoon to scoop out the seeds and slice the cleaned halves into uniform slices so they bake evenly.

Position the slices on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they don't overlap.

Drizzle olive oil over the slices; sprinkle spice and brown sugar mixture evenly.

Bake the squash slices for about 25 minutes or until they are tender and the edges are slightly caramelized.
