Trim, clean, and halve Brussels sprouts; remove any discolored leaves.

toss sprouts with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, Kosher salt, and black pepper.

Spread sprouts cut side down on the baking sheet. Roast until crispy and caramelized.

For an optional garnish, sprinkle Brussels sprouts with Parmesan cheese before serving.
