Honey Soaked Lemons

I make this easy honey ferment every winter and the bright lemon flavors make taste like sunshine.

Fermented Lemons & Raw Honey 

INGREDIENTS – Raw honey – Lemon

Quickly rinse the lemons with water,  removing any dirt. Slice into thin rounds about ⅛" thick.

 Add the lemon slices to a sanitized mason jar, leaving 1" of headspace at the top.

Pour raw honey over the lemon slices until they are covered leaving  1/4 inch of space.
