Garlic mustard that is a bitter green that's been the US for hundreds of years and is a invasive but tasty plant

Only pick from areas not treated with pesticides Only take what you need, leave some for others and for the plant to grow and propagate.

my top foraging tip

– Garlic Mustard leaves,  – pepitas  olive oil – garlic cloves –Parmesan Cheese

Ingredients

bring a large pot of water to boil.   Once boiling, add the garlic mustard and cook for about 30 seconds.  Scoop out with a slotted spoon and transfer to a bowl of ice water  Drain well.

Combine ingredients in food processor and pulse until smooth.

slowly add oil while food processor is running. 

add cheese, mix, and taste and adjust flavors if needed 

store pesto in an airtight container, or pair with pasta and enjoy!
