Sparkling Grapefruit Mimosa Cocktail

I  use champagne here, but you can sub in your favorite Prosecco bubbly if you prefer a drier grapefruit mimosa replacement.

This history is unclear but a mimosa made with grapefruit juice is called a megmosa and is a popular in the East Coast. Did  you know it had that name?

INGREDIENTS

– 2.5 oz of Champagne  – 2.5 oz grapefruit juice – 1 slice of grapefruit for garnish

1. Pour 2 ½ oz (75 ml) wine halfway up a chilled glass

STEP 1

1. top with 2 ½ oz (75ml) freshly squeezed grapefruit juice.

STEP 2

 step 3.  Stir to combine.
