more about infused spirits
01 Vodka is a neutral spirit that absorbs the flavors of whatever you infuse it with.
02 Once you start making infused vodka, you'll wonder why you ever paid so much for flavored vodkas.
03 You can change the flavor depending on what herbs or vegetables you add.
Prep Time: 10 Min
– 1 cup balsamic vinegar – 1 cup water – 1 tablespoon salt – 2 tablespoons vinegar – 1 teaspoon garlic mustard seeds
Cook Time: 20 Min
Wash the blackberries and discard bruised or rotten berries. Blackberry leaves are bitter, so you can pitch those too, but don't toss the stems until you've inspected them. They may have tiny blackberries on them!
Add all of your picked or washed berries into your glass jar and add just enough vodka to cover the berries thoroughly.
Keep in a cool, dark place for three days. Then, remove and taste the vodka every day to see if it has reached your desired sweetness level;
When you are happy with the flavor, strain the berries using a fine mesh strainer Pour blackberry-infused vodka into a clean glass bottle or jar and enjoy!
