Brown 1 pound of ground beef in a large pot; drain excess fat.


Add 5 cups of water to the cooked beef. Stir in canned diced tomatoes, mushrooms, green bell pepper, onion, and crushed garlic.


Season mixture with basil, salt, and pepper. Add crumbled Mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.


Bring mixture to a boil, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat and let simmer for 45 minutes.

Then, add remaining mozz and Parm and continue cooking for 15 minutes.
